Welcome to Cochin Airport is also known as Kochi. Kochi (colonial name Cochin) is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as ‘God’s Own Country’. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally, Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala.
We will meet at Cochin Airport / Ernakulam Railway station as per the guidelines given. Then we will start to the hotel. Evening is free at leisure.

After breakfast we will proceeds to enjoy the famous Kerala Backwaters ride from Alleppey to Pallathurthy. Welcome to Thiruvananthapuram – the capital city of Kerala.
Today we will enjoy sightseeing in the city of Thiruvananthapuram. We will visit to the rich and famous Padmanabh Swami Temple – the wealthiest Hindu Temple in the whole world. This is followed by our visit to the Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery featuring a unique collection of traditional and contemporary painting and then Napier Museum (subject to operation). Later we will enjoy at Kovalam beach.

The day is set for a wonderful journey to the southernmost tip of India – Kanyakumari. Visit the Swami Vivekananda Rock memorial by ferry ride.
We also visit the meditation hall and the smarak, Kanyakumari Mandir, Tri Samudra Milan (TriveniSangam)

After breakfast we will proceeds to Thekkady (Periyar). Welcome to Thekkady (Periyar) known for its lush forest Thekkady (Periyar) is considered to be an important tourist attraction in Kerala, owing to the Periyar National Park which is located here. The region is also a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, ginger and clove. Evening is free at leisure.
Today we are going to explore Thekkady, proceeding to Periyar wildlife Reserve. The wildlife sanctuary is notable as an elephant reserve, a tiger reserve and is home to various rare, endangered flora and fauna. Later, we enjoy free time for our favourite activity, shopping at Kumily Spice Village. (Periyar Boat Ride is under KTDC and the tour timings are subject to availability of slots).

In Periyar you could spot a family of Elephants.

After breakfast we will proceed to Munnar town and hill station located in the Idukki district of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it’s surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century.
The day is set for a wonderful speed boat ride at Mattupetty Dam near Sun Moon Valley. The most attractive part of Mattupetty Dam is its still water which reflects the beautiful tea gardens around. All around us are beautiful expanses of tea gardens, which we view to our heart’s content. Here you have a chance to buy various types of teas at the Tata Tea Centre. We also visit Echo Point and Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park/ Tea Museum.
Following are the important point to see : visit the unique beautiful Mattupetty lake and Dam, Kundala Dam, Echo Point and Top Station to enjoy the scenery, Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park/ Tea Museum, Tata Tea Centre Evening is free for shopping.
Note: Optional : Visit to kolukkumalai tea factory can be arranged by a local Jeep at an additional cost of Rs.1500 per jeep.
Unique beautiful Mattupetty lake and Dam :

We travel to Cochin today – a major port city with the finest natural harbour on the Indian coastline. On arrival, we explore the city of Cochin, also known as the ‘Queen of the Arabian Sea’. On arrival we will visit Dutch Palace (subject to operation) and St. Francis Church – the oldest European church in India. Evening will have free time for shopping.

We will visit the Chinese Fishing Nets near Fort Kochi followed by a visit to the Jewish Synagogue (subject to operation). This is a time to say Good Bye to our tour companions. Joining and Leaving Tour’s guests will proceed to the Airport / Railway Station on their own from Cochin.

For transfers and sightseeing we will use small cars or Tempo Travellers or Mini Buses or big buses depending on the respective tour group size. In case of small cars there will be 4/5 guests in one car. If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.
Given the current dynamic situation some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing if possible.
